Collaborate with us

Do you have a problem, challenge or question that you’d like to put to our team of design researchers and design students?

Would your organisation or department benefit from a fresh vision of the services they provide and how these might be reconceived?

Are you looking for innovative and creative ways to engage stakeholders and/or the general public?

The Public Collaboration Lab offers a ‘de-risked space’ for council staff, university staff, students, citizens, voluntary and community sector groups and businesses to collaborate in interdisciplinary research and practice to explore, experiment and develop new ways of designing and delivering place-based solutions to local challenges.

We are actively seeking new partners and collaborators, across the public, private, and third sector, as well as academia, in order to share our design skills and expertise, and to develop new citizen-centred approaches to problem solving. We can undertake projects on a range of scales and themes including, but not limited to, service design, behaviour change, public consultation, design for social innovation and organisational change.

Our ethos of learning together by doing together is integral to the way we collaborate and we can offer partners a tailored, context specific, experiential learning based approach that seeks to be transformational through its process as well as its outputs. Collaborations can be shaped in a number of ways from bespoke workshops, mutual learning opportunities and professional training, through to consultancy projects (involving our staff, students and graduates), as well as, collaborative research.

If you would like to discuss a potential project or find our more about how we can work with you please contact us.
